I have been a birth doula for a long time and so many of my clients expressed a wish to have their labour and birth photographed so they had forever memories of their journey. I am still learning about editing and currently offer this service as part of my birth doula support or at a highly discounted price for those not wanting a doula. Many people think birth photography might be too graphic or intimate but I strive to take pictures in the style requested by my clients. Birth can be messy, wild and all the things but I see through all that into the power and beauty it harnesses. My work shows you the styles in which I photograph, can help you decide what would be the most comfortable to you and in the weeks preceding your birth we will go over your preferences so I am clear on what you hope for.
